Born and raised in Houston, I am one proud Texas girl! I have been a member of TEMA since 2015 and have spent the past 6 years in the energy management field. My work vision is to continue building a sustainable Energy Management program that demonstrates a commitment to conserving financial and natural resources while maintaining a safe and productive environment for staff and students.
Prior to entering the field of Energy Management, I worked at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in the Investigational Pharmacy. Once I realized that she had a passion for working with kids and teaching others, I changed careers and joined the world of education where I taught Chemistry and Physics for 10 years and then served as a campus administrator for 5 years. In 2015, I was asked to develop an Energy Management Department & a new passion was discovered.
When I'm not at work, I love spending time with family and friends. I've been married for 17 years to the coolest football coach ever and together we have one amazing teenage daughter. On the weekends, you can find me at the high school football game, road tripping across Texas, enjoying cookouts with friends, or binge-watching British crime dramas.
